Clan Rules

  1. Always listen to the leader and all co-leaders. The leader and co-leaders are knowledgeable and proficient at giving advice in all matters of the game.
    1. If an issue arises between two or more members, ask an elder or co-leader for outside help on the matter.
    2. If an issue arises between two or more elders, contact a co-leader for assistance.
    3. If an issue arises between two or more co-leaders, ask jjjonga (aka Josh) or injesusname (aka Ian) to clarify the issue.
    4. Finally if jjjonga and injesusname are arguing, just laugh at them and tell them to visit this site.
  2. War is a privilege not a right. Opt in for war if you are sure you will be able to make both war attacks. Please do not opt in if you have a hero upgrading or if you plan to upgrade your hero during war, as this leaves you at a disadvantage in offense. The official war start time is 7:30 Central Standard Time in the United States).
    1. Please note that just because you are opted in does not mean you will be selected for war.
    2. Firstly a new member must donate at least 100 troops before war starts.
    3. Secondly they must prove they are able to at least 2 star a base of their same strength and demonstrate a good understanding of war attack strategies. This can be done through a shared raid against another base or in friendly battle against another clan member.
    4. See War Attacks for a guide to war attack strategies.
  3. Promotions are earned not given. Do not beg the co-leaders to give you promotions. If members do beg, the co-leaders reserve the right to kick out said members. However, there is nothing wrong with asking how promotions are attained. If such questions are asked, direct any members to this page.
    1. To remain in the clan all members must donate at least 250 troops per season, which is one month in length.
    2. To attain the status of elder, a member must donate at least 500 troops per season and retain a 1:2 or 2:1 donation ratio. See below for donation ratio info.
    3. To be promoted to the status of co-leader is the highest honor a member may receive. All current co-leaders have been tested and trained to understand many different attack strategies. No amount of donations can earn an elder the right of co-leader. Elders must prove that they are trustworthy and have a good understanding of war attack strategies and base designs.
  4. War strategy is of the utmost importance. Please note that all war plans are only sent out by leaders or co-leaders. Do not listen to anyone else unless a co-leader is there to agree with them.
    1. The War Plan for each war will be sent out before the war starts. The war plan could be any of the following strategies below or a combination of them. Please follow this war plan, as it has been carefully thought out and will lead to (if followed properly) a win for the clan. Often times follow-up plans will be sent closer to the end of the war with specific bases to attack. If your name is mentioned in a follow-up war plan, it means you are of the utmost importance. The fate of the war could be in your hands. Follow that plan exactly as it says. Make sure to communicate with at least one co-leader before attacking.
    2. A common strategy is to attack your mirror for your first attack, which is the base with your same number in the opposing clan. For example, if you were #9, you would first attack the #9 in the opponents clan. We do not typically use this strategy.
    3. Another common strategy is to attack either one or 2 down from your mirror. For example, if you were #9, you would attack either #10 or #11. We sometimes use this strategy as it can be very effective.
    4. Finally this strategy is probably the hardest to follow and execute. It allows every member of the clan to attack any base that they think they can 3 star. This places huge trust on all warring members because it is up to them to understand their own attacking capabilities. Many new players are unable to do this, but as time progresses they learn more and more. A great way to increase your understanding of your own strength is to train up your strongest army and attack a fellow clan member in a friendly battle. This is a great indicator of your strengths and weaknesses.
  5. Donating is one of the greatest features of clash of clans. However, do not abuse this feature. Always donate what is requested. Never donate wrong troops. Doing so may result in severe consequences if done repeatedly. On the other hand, high donations are a huge factor in determining promotions.
    1.  The donation ratio is the number of troops donated to the number of troops received. For example, a person who donated 50 troops but who received 100 troops will have a ratio of 1:2. He donated 1 troops for every 2 troops he received. But if a person donated 100 troops and received only 50 troops, he would have a ratio of 2:1. Please keep your donation ratio between 1:2 and 2:1. You can receive as many troops as you like as long as you donate enough.
    2. If not for war, please do not request for super strong troops such as pekkas or golems. If you are in need of troops for defense, requesting for “defense” should result in receiving wizards, giants, valks, or arch. It is perfectly ok to request for these types of troops.
    3. Requesting for war troops is completely different. Here you are allowed to ask for any troops which will help your war army, such as maxed golems, maxed hogs, maxed valks, etc. Try to be specific about the number of troops you want if you want to have multiple troops in your clan castle. Do NOT just say: hogs and valks. Instead, indicate how many of each you desire: 2 hogs, 2 valks. This way members who wish to donate may donate exactly what you want.
  6. Common terms used
    1. cc: clan castle
    2. DGB: double giant bombs placed next to each other
    3. WT: wizard tower
    4. AD: air defense
    5. TH: town hall
    6. AT: archer tower
    7. Dragloon: a war army composition composed of all dragons in army camps and maxed loons in clan castle. Spells usually include lightning and/or rage spells.
    8. Goho: a war army composition using 1 or 2 golems, wizards, wallbreakers, and the rest hogs. spells include mostly heals and a rage or jump.
    9. Lavaloon: a war army composition using from 1-5 lavahounds and balloons. spells vary greatly.
